Health, Safety & Personal Responsibility
By participating in any of my services, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your own health, well-being, and safety.
The Participant acknowledges that participation in dance workshops, group events and associated activities (‘Services’) involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
- physical activities such as dance, meditation, stretching and other movement practices, which may result in injury, strain, illness, or aggravation of pre-existing conditions;
- meditation, sound, somatic, and therapeutic practices, which may surface strong emotions, memories, or psychological responses.
The Participant understands that these risks cannot be eliminated without changing the essential nature of the service and voluntarily accepts them as a condition of participation.
Liability Waiver
By registering for any workshop, class or event, you agree to release, indemnify, and hold me harmless from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, injuries, or losses arising from or related to your participation. (Signing the waiver form is a required part of dance workshop registration, as well as participants will sign again in person on the day).
BY SIGNING THE WAIVER FORM:
You certify that you are physically fit to participate in any physical practices and all activities of the event.
You understand that any physical activity involves inherent risks, and you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.
You agree to inform me of any existing injuries, medical conditions, or physical limitations.
I am not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, accidents, or medical conditions that may occur before, during, or after the event.
Force Majeure
I shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing my obligations under this agreement due to events beyond my reasonable control. Such events include, but are not limited to, acts of God, natural disasters, fire, flood, war, terrorism, a national / global health issue (such as a pandemic), compliance with any law or government restraint order, government restrictions, power outages, closure of country or state borders, strike, lockout or the failure of third parties (such as suppliers and subcontractors) or any other circumstance that renders it illegal, impossible, unsafe, or commercially impractical to continue with your booking (‘Force Majeure’).
